All over the place

Sorry, readers, for being unable to make up my mind about this here blog. From name changes to private entries and back again, I've been pretty inconsistent.

I just want a little space to flex my creative muscle from time to time, and keep distant friends and family in the loop without writing a million different emails. For a while there I was feeling weird about sharing my life with complete strangers, but what the heck. It's what all the cool kids are doing these days, right?

I promise I'll stop messing around, though. If you're still reading, thanks for sticking around!

  1. Yay, I'm glad you're still here! I hear you on how you feel about being public, the whole thing. It weirds me out! But I know if I stop doing my blog my grandma will be totally bummed. ;) And I do enjoy it, too, though the more kids I have the more sporadic it gets!

I always enjoy your posts and am glad to read 'em. Thanks for sharing, hope all's well with you guys ~ Kate

  2. I love your blog. Reading about the lives of strangers can be sooooo fascinating! Especially your life! Ohio is boring compared to the Yukon.

  3. I am glad you are still here too - I've missed hearing about your life over there, but I totally understand the urge for privacy.

Congratulations on little Colm - I can't believe how big Aedan is too!

Best go walk the puppy, but I just wanted to say how pleased I am you are back (but don't worry if you decide not to keep blogging - it's your blog, your rules).

PS I never did mention that over here in Wick (Scotland), I live a stone's throw away from Dempster Street...

  4. Tara,
That you make the time to flex your creative muscle is an inspiration to me, 200 km to the south east, we are totally isolated from each other, but me with my two girls here in the bush, the generator chugging away at 38 below, I feel we are in a pretty similar situation. I am inspired by your resilience, you help me through. The moments drag and the days fly.
    Congrats on the second son,
All the best to all of you,
    Sylvia F
